This celebration pays tribute to the composer from Benamocarre Eduardo Ocón Rivas (1833–1901), a renowned composer from Málaga and organist at the Cathedral, whose works include, in particular, his organ compositions, notably the great «Miserere». His secular works include the «Rapsidia Andaluza» and the «Colección de Cantos Españoles”.”
